Passing twisted trees, blackened homes and abandoned vehicles, the mother appears to clutch the hand of her child, perhaps fearful that another deadly barrage of Russian shells or rockets is seconds away.

'My family was in the bomb shelter of High School No 2. Three days ago a shell shattered some of the windows. A woman was wounded in her hip. She laid all night on the first floor asking for someone to give her poison so that she would not feel the pain.'

'And if you are one of the people who was denied the glorious breastfeeding experience for whatever reason then I want you to know that you are not alone, you are not a failure AND that plenty of babies are raised to be absolute stallions from formula.⁣

It has been obvious for several years that the rules around transgender participation in sport were unfair to biological females and promised to create the kind of mess that we have seen in the Atlanta pool.

I would like Lia to be free to compete in a category appropriate to her biological sex and I want her to feel welcome when doing it, not to touch the wall to silence.
I have always wanted fair sport for females — they must have an equal chance of success in sport, where physiology is vital to performance. Bodies do sport, not feelings.

Where will it hit? There is no food, no medicine. When there will be no more snow people won't be able to go out for water. The dead are not taken out. The police recommend to open the windows and put the corpses on the balcony.'

Initial reports claimed Jimmy (pictured with a dog) was one of 10 people who were gunned down by Russian soldiers while lining up to buy bread, however, Katya claims further investigation by the U.S. State Department revealed he was killed in the blast

She beat one female athlete to a place on the Pennsylvania team. She kept a second out of the semi-finals and another out of the final. The fourth-placed swimmer was denied a place on the podium and runner-up Emma Weyant, the first actual female in the race, lost out on being the NCAA champion.

That's right. Forget Marvel. This is the show to watch if you want a rich, existential look at the interconnectedness of all things. The world of the OA is vast and the way it works follows the most unexpected rules.

A women's group last week filed a civil complaint against the University of Pennsylvania for allowing Thomas to compete on its team for breaking Title 9, which was introduced to stop sexual discrimination in sport.

The OA comes from longtime creative team Brit Marling (who also stars as Prairie) and Zal Batmanglij. The show feels like the product of buzzing minds excitedly throwing out idea after idea. The OA is as intense as it is dense, exploring the human condition, mortality, the afterlife and… the multiverse.

The OA is difficult to describe, because it sews a handful of different genres into its own ethereal plane. The OA is surreal at times. Yet instead of floating images gently knocking against each other, the sci-fi here is delivered with the grounded assuredness of a Christopher Nolan movie. It moves with the same relentless force.

'Nobody in Chernihiv is safe. Indiscriminate bombing,' he wrote March 2, sharing a photo of Irina under blankets in her hospital bed. 'Ukrainian forces hold city but are surrounded. It's a siege here. Nobody in. Nobody out.'

Those that understand sport know that this is wrong. They are afraid to speak up because of the abuse they would get.
Swimmers in the US have been told they'll be stripped of their scholarships if they criticise what is going on. Coaches and officials fear losing their jobs were they to take a stand.

From here, the story functions a little like the mystery in Yellowjackets. We don't know whether Prairie is telling her new friends the truth or not. We don't know whether she truly has supernatural powers. To them, it doesn't entirely matter.
